    I miss my Griffin Defender but his one is just fine. Five years ago I bought an iPad 2 and put it in a Griffin Defender case. I have been ecstatic about the protection of that case, I really felt like I could take my pad to war and it would be fine.     Just not the quality you expect from a Griffin Survivor. I had a wonderful custom Survivor case for my iPad Air, so when I bought an iPad Air 2 and had issues with the volume controls, I ordered a Survivor case that would accommodate the new configuration. It just isn’t the same quality as the original Air case. Very difficult to snap together and the screen cover is bowed up which means that the closer to the center of the screen you touch, the harder you have to press, also as noted elsewhere, it just doesn’t seem to cover as much or as well as…

I have had the Griffin case on my 2nd Gen iPad and iPhone 4s, so far those were wonderful products and have protected those items from the cruel punishment only children to bestow.
